Bowery Valuation is a tech-driven commercial appraisal firm that uses a proprietary software to create more efficient appraisals. In it's current iteration, this software is targeted at appraisers who primarily work on multi-family/mixed-use properties located in NYC/NJ.

However, Bowery appraisers work across 10+ property types throughout the continental US. When the software (also known as the app) doesn't support their property type or location, they have to decide how much of the report they'd want to push through on-app, and then go off-app for the rest (using Excel and Word documents as templates). This is what is known as a hybrid report.

My team was tasked with researching - and subsequently improving - the hybrid report process to increase efficiency amongst appraisers considered "unsupported" by the current software.
